This unique corn we acquired from legendary grower Ron Boyd in Alcalde, NM. It comes from Alan Bishop's Astronomy Domine Sweet Corn which is descended from dozens of varieties of heirloom and modern sweet corns he crossed in Southern Indiana. Selected to be sweet, genetically diverse, and drought tolerant. Colored Corn kernels were of particular interest in Bishop's breeding due to the high levels of Anthocyanins which are thought to have extraordinary health benefits.
